Long Song

Song Long made his senior debut for Qingdao Jonoon on 17 April 2010, against Liaoning Whowin, and went on to make 117 league appearances for the club, scoring four goals before its relegation at the end of the 2013 Chinese Super League season.

He moved to Shandong Luneng, later renamed Shandong Taishan, on 14 July 2016, and made 83 league appearances there, adding two goals. With Shandong he won the 2021 Chinese Super League title and lifted the Chinese FA Cup in three consecutive years, 2020, 2021 and 2022. In the 2020 final he was on the scoresheet himself, in a 2-0 win over Jiangsu Suning. Shandong beat Shanghai SIPG 1-0 in the 2021 final and Zhejiang 2-1 in 2022, completing a three-peat in the competition.

In June 2024 he was loaned to Qingdao Hainiu for the remainder of the season. Qingdao Hainiu announced on 15 February 2025 that he would extend his loan for the 2025 campaign, with the fee reported at 2 million RMB; the arrangement is set to convert into a one-year contract once the loan ends, keeping him at the club into 2026.

Song Long plays as a left-back, though he has also featured in midfield. He was called up to the China Olympic team for Asian Games qualifiers in 2010.
