About the player
He joined Diogo Cão as a boy before Porto's scouts moved him into their youth system in 2015, and a first professional contract signed in July 2022, renewed two years later in November 2024.
His breakthrough with the B team came on 8 April 2024, and since then he has built himself into a regular fixture in Liga Portugal 2. The 2024/25 season saw 25 appearances but no goals, a single assist, and four yellow cards. The 2025/26 season brought a different story. Across that campaign Teixeira has started 32 matches, scored twice and added two assists.
He has represented Portugal at under-16, under-17 and under-18 level, and made one appearance for the under-19s, but a call-up to the senior squad has not yet come.
