About the player
Kiala arrived at Hertha BSC 's academy in 2011, from the Berlin youth side SG Rotation Prenzlauer Berg, and worked his way up to a Regionalliga debut for Hertha BSC II in 2022. In May 2023 he was named on the bench for the senior squad.
He joined Eintracht Frankfurt II on a free transfer in July 2024 and left a year later. In July 2025 he moved to Alemannia Aachen , again for no fee, and signed a contract running to June 2029.
The 2025/26 season has given him the run of matches his Berlin years never did: 31 appearances in the 3. Liga , 2,314 minutes, one yellow card and one red, plus four matches in the DFB-Pokal .
Born in Berlin and holding dual citizenship, Kiala won three caps for Germany at under-19 level before switching allegiance to Angola . He debuted for the senior Angolan side in 2024 and has two caps. He was part of the Angola squad that won the 2024 COSAFA Cup in July of that year, playing twice in the tournament, against Seychelles and Namibia.
