About the player
Two appearances in the Greek Super League during the 2021–22 season were enough to make Petros Bagalianis a champion with Olympiacos. The rest of his three years at the club were spent elsewhere: 61 matches and two goals for Olympiacos B in Super League 2.
He arrived in Piraeus on a free transfer in 2021, having come up through Aris Thessaloniki, whose academy he joined in 2009 at the age of eight. He was still with Aris in 2018 when he was handed a senior debut, and he made around 15 appearances for them, scoring once, before moving on.
A loan to PAS Giannina in the summer of 2022 brought eight appearances and an early return to Olympiacos that January. The move abroad in August 2024, to Ekstraklasa side Stal Mielec, went no better: five matches, and a departure by mutual consent five months later.
He played 13 league matches and scored twice, turning out in both Super League Greece 2 and Super League Greece 1.
Alemannia Aachen took him on a free transfer on 8 January 2026, the latest in a career made up entirely of free moves and loans. He has played 18 matches for the German club. He is right-footed and holds no individual awards; the championship medal from 2021–22 remains the only honour on his record.
