Jovan Miladinović

The move to Železničar Pančevo in July 2026 came with a three-year contract and a specific reason attached. Jovan Miladinović said what drew him was the way the side plays under coach Radomir Koković, building out from the goalkeeper. The club presented him as one of the most talented goalkeepers of his generation. He has four appearances on the books there so far.

He started at seven, in the youth academy of Kikr in his home town of Kraljevo, before moving into the Red Star system. He also spent time training at the youth academy of Atlético Madrid. In 2023 he made occasional appearances for the Red Star first team.

Then came the part that took a year to settle. His contract with Red Star expired on 30 June 2024, and a dispute followed between the player, his agent Igor Gluščević and the club's management, including general director Zvezdan Terzić. Miladinović sought to have the contract declared invalid, citing pressure and what he described as malicious conduct by the club. The case went to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, which ruled in Red Star's favour on 28 June 2025 and rejected all of the player's claims. Red Star received no transfer fee, as he had left as a free agent.

In the meantime he had kept playing. In early October 2024 he signed a one-year deal with the Bosnian club Zvijezda 09 in Bijeljina. He has also been through the Serbia youth sides, with appearances for the under-19s between November 2022 and August 2023, and in October 2025 he played for Serbia's under-21 team.
