About the player
Kevin Liimatainen came through Sweden's junior ranks with Ljungskile SK and Elfsborg's under-19 side before starting his senior career at FC Trollhättan in 2021, where he stayed for four seasons. A move to Lunds BK followed in February 2025, and on 1 January 2026 he signed with Norrby IF on a deal running through 2027-2028.
At Norrby, Liimatainen has settled into a regular role in the Superettan, appearing in 19 league matches this season with a goal and an assist to his name. He has also made his mark in the domestic cup: a single appearance in the Svenska Cupen brought him two goals.
He has not featured for any Swedish national youth or senior side, and his page carries no team or individual honours to date.
