Kwasi Okyere Wriedt

Kwasi Okyere Wriedt was born in Hamburg and came through the city's own youth football before joining FC St. Pauli's academy. His path through the German pyramid took him via LSK Hansa and VfL Osnabrück before, in 2017, Bayern Munich signed him — a move that put him alongside the senior squad while he did most of his work for Bayern Munich II, where he scored 69 goals in 96 appearances. That spell yielded a DFB-Pokal and two DFL-Supercups with the first team, plus a 3. Liga championship with the reserve side, for whom he was named the division's Player of the Season and its top scorer in 2019–20.

A move to Willem II took him into the Eredivisie, where he scored 12 goals in 42 appearances, before Holstein Kiel paid a transfer fee to bring him back to Germany in January 2022. He spent over two seasons at Kiel, interrupted by a loan back to Osnabrück, before taking his career to Turkey with spells at Manisa FK and Şanlıurfaspor in the TFF First League. A return to Germany followed at Alemannia Aachen, and he has since moved on to TSV Havelse.

Alongside his club career, Wriedt has represented Ghana at international level, earning six caps between 2018 and 2022. At Havelse, playing in the 3. Liga, he wears the number 11 shirt as a centre-forward, a role in which his goalscoring form with Bayern Munich II remains the standout mark of his career so far.
