Luís Miguel Nlavo Asué

Nlavo Asué came through Cano Sport Academy in Malabo before moving to Portugal to join S.C. Braga, where he spent the early years of his career working through the club's system. He stayed with Braga B in the Campeonato de Portugal for three seasons, scoring seven goals in 29 appearances, before a free transfer took him to Moreirense in January 2024. There he became a regular fixture in the Primeira Liga, scoring five goals in 46 appearances over the 2024–2025 campaign.

In June 2025 he left Europe for the Chinese Super League, joining Shanghai Shenhua on a free transfer. It was there, in August 2026, that he produced the standout moment of his career so far: a hat-trick against Chengdu Rongcheng as Shanghai Shenhua came back from 2-0 down to win 5-4. The result was one of just eight hat-tricks recorded in the Chinese Super League that season.

Nlavo Asué moved to Leganés on loan in January 2026, arriving in the Segunda División with an option to buy at the end of the season. He has made 15 appearances for the club and scored twice.

He has represented Equatorial Guinea at senior level since 2019, having first played for the under-17 side in 2018. He has earned 32 caps and scored five goals for the national team, and has been part of three Africa Cup of Nations squads, at the 2021, 2023 and 2025 editions.
