About the player
He came through the academy at Academia Puerto Cabello, going on to make 111 league appearances and score 36 goals there.
Polissya loaned him out twice: first to Vinotinto FC in Ecuador, where he scored once in five matches, then to Chornomorets Odesa, where he added three goals in 13 games in Ukraine's second tier.
A third loan, agreed in January 2026, brought him to Cúcuta Deportivo. Wearing the number 90 shirt, he found the net six times in 18 league matches. When the loan expired, Puebla signed him outright in June 2026; with no goals in three Liga MX appearances and two further outings in the Leagues Cup.
Hernández has represented Venezuela at under-23 level, making his debut in June 2023 and scoring once in three appearances.
