Luan de Freitas Molarinho Chagas

Luan Freitas came through Fluminense's academy, training with the first team from 2019, and made his senior debut for the club in March 2021 in the Campeonato Carioca against Resende. A knee injury cost him much of the 2022 season, and although Fluminense kept extending his contract, first to the end of 2024 and then through 2027, the club sent him out on loan three times in succession.

Londrina came first, a brief stint in 2023. The move to Paysandu in 2024 saw him become a regular over two seasons, playing 31 matches and scoring once. He won the Campeonato Paraense there in 2024, then added the Copa Verde in both 2024 and 2025 and the Super Copa Grão-Pará in 2025. A loan to Juventude followed in 2025, where he featured 14 times in Brazil's Série A and set up a goal.

Fortaleza took him on loan from Fluminense in January 2026. He has established himself as a starter, appearing 31 times across all competitions this season — 14 in Série B, seven in the Campeonato Cearense, eight in the Copa do Nordeste and two in the Copa do Brasil. In Série B alone he has logged 1,044 minutes with an average rating of 6.75, alongside 41 aerial duels, 15 tackles and nine interceptions, adding one assist and two yellow cards. He helped Fortaleza win the Campeonato Cearense in 2026, having already collected two Campeonato Carioca titles with Fluminense, in 2022 and 2023.
