Lucca Borges de Brito

His path there was not direct. Born in Alto Parnaíba, in Maranhão, he started out at Palmas before short spells at Araguaína and Ituiutaba led him to Criciúma, where he spent the best part of seven years interrupted by loan spells at Chapecoense and Cruzeiro. Corinthians signed him in 2015, and for the next five seasons the club used him as much as a source of loan revenue as a forward of its own: Ponte Preta, Internacional, Al-Rayyan and Bahia all had him on loan before Ponte Preta made the move permanent.

Fluminense took him on for the 2020–2022 spell, but it was back at Ponte Preta, in 2022, that he had his most productive season in front of goal, with 21 in 38 appearances. From there his career went abroad, to Thailand's Lamphun Warriors, before a return to Brazilian football with Novorizontino, where he scored seven times in 2025.

Lucca joined Guaraní Campinas in December 2025. Local paper Globo Esporte later worked out that, combining his goals for Guaraní and Ponte Preta, he had become the fourth-highest scorer in Campinas football this century — a distinction tied to the city rather than to either club alone. By August 2026 he had made 19 appearances for Guaraní, scoring three goals.
