About the player
Marco Alexandru Dulca was born in Pohang, South Korea, because his father, Cristian Dulca, was playing for Pohang Steelers at the time. The football that followed was Romanian: he began his senior career at Viitorul Constanța, making his debut in July 2019.
In August 2020 he was loaned to Chindia Târgoviște, and the move stuck. He stayed through 2021, when Chindia signed him permanently as part of a swap deal, and remained there until the middle of 2022. It was Chindia that set the price of the next step: on 5 August 2022 Dulca signed for FCSB after his release clause was met. That spell ran until 2023.
He joined NK Celje on a contract to 2026 and was part of the squad that won the PrvaLiga title in 2023–24, then added the Slovenian Cup in 2024–25.
He plays as a defensive midfielder, a right-footed one.
In 2021 he represented the Romanian Olympic team.
Dulca left Celje in 2025 and went back to Romania, joining Petrolul Ploiești.
