About the player
Odense built Magnus Andersen from the age of 13, when he joined the club's academy after starting out at Allesø GF and Næsby Boldklub in his home region around Allerslev. On 7 September 2023, he made his first-team debut in a Danish Cup tie against Tune IF.
It came on 17 April 2025 against Kolding IF, in the same season Odense won the Danish 1st Division. The club confirmed he would move into the first-team squad proper for 2025/26, wearing the number 28 shirt.
A two-year contract extension in July 2024 was followed, within a year, by a much longer deal running to 2029.
