About the player
Syshchenko's first appearance in the Russian Premier League came on 19 April 2025, away to Dynamo Makhachkala. He played the full 90 minutes and Orenburg won 2–1.
He had arrived at Orenburg as a free agent in July 2023 and was handed his professional debut for Orenburg-2 on 23 July, within days of signing. The 2024 season in the Second League, Division B brought him two goals — a defender contributing at the other end of the pitch.
Born in Donetsk, he started out at DFL Podolsk before joining the Chertanovo academy, where he stayed from 2016 to 2020. What followed was a run of short stops: a spell at Vityaz Podolsk in August 2020, then FShM Moscow from that October until the summer of 2022, then a season in the youth and reserve set-up at Torpedo Moscow.
In August 2025 Orenburg sent him out on loan to Chernomorets Novorossiysk for the 2025/26 season. He has since made ten appearances in the First League and two in the Russian Cup. He is yet to be called up by a Russian national side at any level, and has won no titles or individual awards.
