About the player
Malte Wester left the Djurgårdens academy for IF Elfsborg in May 2021, combining the move with studies at a national sports school. He joined Norrby IF in January 2025 on a deal running to the end of 2027.
The left-footed midfielder's clearest mark came at youth level. At 15 he scored twice in a single match in Sweden's P17 Allsvenskan södra. Sweden called him into the under-16 squad in June 2021, and he was named as the 21st player for the P17 European Championship in Israel. He came off the bench during the tournament in the match against Scotland.
