About the player
Two Serbian youth titles with Red Star sit at the start of Marko Ćurić's record: the U17 championship in 2019/20, then the U19 title in 2021/22. That same season he appeared twice for the club's U19 side in the UEFA Youth League, without scoring.
The step towards senior football came in August 2022, when Red Star sent him on loan to Grafičar Belgrade. In 2022/23 he made 32 appearances in the Serbian SuperLiga and did not score. The following season, with Grafičar in the Prva Liga, he added 18 matches and got his first two senior goals. Across the two-year loan he reached roughly 50 official appearances — a substantial body of first-team football for a player who had been in the academy a year earlier.
In July 2024 he left Red Star for good and signed for Železničar Pančevo. Then the run of games stopped. A cruciate ligament injury cost him a large part of the period between 2025 and 2026, and much of what the move was supposed to build on went with it.
He is a right-footed midfielder, born in Belgrade, and no individual awards — player of the month, top scorer or similar — appear on his record. What the record does show is volume: two full seasons of senior matches before his twenty-first birthday, at two different levels of Serbian football.
