Marlon Torres returns to América de Cali, having signed with the team early in 2026.
Torres, born in Barranquilla, began at Atlético Nacional, making his debut there in August 2014. He moved on to Leones and then Atlético Bucaramanga before his first arrival at América de Cali in 2019.
After leaving América de Cali in 2022, Torres joined Independiente Santa Fe as a free agent in January 2023, then switched to Deportes Tolima that July, again as a free agent. He stayed at Tolima until mid-2025, closing out a period that took his career total past 340 matches.
His return to América de Cali was completed as a transfer rather than a free move, with the club presenting him officially in January 2026. He now wears the number 2 shirt for a side he already knows well from the inside.
