Maurício Júnior Lima Rodrigues

Maurício Júnior Lima Rodrigues' career has run largely through the aranha loan circuit before landing him a move to Fortaleza. His time at Coimbra, where he came through the system, was repeatedly interrupted by loan spells rather than settled first-team football, and by the time he left the club in 2024 he had spent more seasons away than at home.

Villa Nova was the destination on more than one occasion, first in 2022 and again across the 2023/24 campaign. His appearances there were brief and largely confined to the Campeonato Mineiro, including a start against Athletic-MG, and the spell also brought a sending-off. It was a stop-start period that reflected his standing as a fringe squad option rather than an established starter.

A permanent move to Londrina in April 2024 gave him the most settled run of his career to date. He became a regular fixture in the side over the following two seasons, featuring in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C and the Campeonato Paranaense, and contributed goals along the way, a rare output for a player in his position.

In March 2026 he moved to Fortaleza on loan from Londrina, with the deal running until the end of the year. He has already been involved for his new club, featuring in their 2-1 win over Juventude in April 2026.

He has not been called up by the Brazil national team.
