About the player
Max Lamby plays left-back for TSV Havelse in the 3. Liga. Before that spell in Gelsenkirchen, the Munich-born defender spent four years at SpVgg Unterhaching, where he came through the club's youth setup.
That Unterhaching youth side gave Lamby his most notable honour to date: the club's under-19 team won the Regionalliga Bavaria title in 2023, a season in which Lamby was part of the squad. He went on to make his senior breakthrough at the same club before a move to Schalke's second team took him into a new environment for the 2025–26 season, only to move on again to Havelse shortly after.
Left-footed and used primarily as a left-back, Lamby has built his career so far on free transfers between clubs rather than fees, a pattern that has continued with his switch to Havelse. He has not featured for Germany at any youth or senior international level, and his career remains centred on steady progress through German football's lower professional tiers rather than a single defining breakthrough moment.
