About the player
Fourteen assists in twenty-nine matches: that was the return Mehmed Manis put together for İskenderunspor A.Ş. in the TFF Second League in 2024/25, alongside three goals of his own.
Born in Liestal, he joined the FC Basel academy and stayed five years, moving up through the age groups from under-16 to under-21 between 2017 and 2022. From there he went to AC Bellinzona , and in early 2024 to FC Rapperswil-Jona in the Swiss Promotion League, again on a free transfer.
His international record is short and belongs to his teenage years. Manis won three caps for the Turkey under-19 side, including appearances at the Federation Cup in Latvia.
