About the player
Sixteen goals in the Kazakhstan Premier League in 2025 made Nazmi Gripshi the division's top scorer. In 51 appearances across all competitions for Astana he scored 24 goals.
He came through at Teuta Durrës in his home city, joining the youth ranks in 2011 and moving up through Teuta B to the senior side, where he played until 2017 and made somewhere between 32 and 35 appearances. Skënderbeu Korçë paid €60,000 for him in January 2017. That move brought the first trophies of his career: the Kategoria Superiore and the Albanian Cup in 2017–18, then the Albanian Supercup the following year. Across three seasons at Skënderbeu he made 89 appearances and scored 12 goals.
He spent four years at Ballkani, played 120 matches, scored 24 goals and won three consecutive Kosovo Superleague titles between 2021–22 and 2023–24, adding the Kosovar Cup in 2023–24 and the Kosovar Supercup in 2022 and 2024.
Astana signed him on a free transfer on 1 July 2024. He stayed until February 2026, when Rubin Kazan took him on a contract running to 2029. By August 2026 he had made 14 appearances and scored one goal.
