Nathan-Dylan Saliba

Nathan Saliba moved into the Montreal Impact academy, and CF Montréal turned that development into a first professional contract in 2020. He made his MLS debut in February 2023.

He stayed at CF Montréal until the summer of 2025, when Anderlecht paid a fee in the region of €2.7 million plus add-ons to bring him to Belgium, with the Canadian side retaining a sell-on clause on any future transfer. Saliba signed through to 2029 and moved straight into the Belgian top flight, wearing the number 13 shirt.

At international level, he has become a regular feature for Canada, scoring against both Honduras and Curaçao during the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He has continued to add to his senior caps and goal tally for the national team since.

His first season in Belgium doubled as a switch between continents: across his final MLS appearances for CF Montréal and his opening Belgian league campaign combined, he made 34 league appearances, scored four goals and set up another. The following season started more slowly, with a handful of appearances split between the league and the Europa League and no goal involvements to show for it yet.
