About the player
He started out at Cerâmica before moving on to Capivariano, where he made his professional debut in 2017, and from there the ledger only grew: Ponte Preta, Santa Cruz, Caldense, a season in Portugal with Oliveirense, then back home to Manaus.
At Patrocinense he opened the year as one of the form players in the Minas Gerais state championship, finishing third in the competition's scoring charts and calling it, at the time, the best start to a season of his career. He then moved to Operário-PR and helped the club win promotion out of Série C, contributing three goals and three assists along the way — the clearest team success of his career to date.
That form carried him to Athletic-MG, where he became a regular fixture: 17 appearances in Série C in 2024, then 33 in Série B the following year, the busiest campaign of his career, with seven goals in the league and another in the state championship. It marked the highest level he had reached.
2026 has been more restless. Loaned out by Capivariano to São Bernardo, he made ten appearances between the São Paulo state championship and the Taça Sul-Sudeste without scoring, before a move to Guarani in July brought a fresh start — and the familiar number 19 on his back, the shirt he had already worn at São Bernardo.
Neto Costa has yet to add a full national-team recognition to that story, but at 29 the well-travelled forward is still adding lines to it.
