Noah Katterbach

Noah Katterbach came through 1. FC Köln's academy, having arrived there in 2008 after starting out at TuS DJK Dreiborn. He made his Bundesliga debut for Köln on 5 October 2019 against Schalke 04 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest player to appear in the league that year. Between the reserve side and the first team he made almost seventy appearances for the club across five years, and he was part of the Köln II squad that won the 2. Bundesliga Championship in the 2018-19 season.

Loan spells took him first to FC Basel in 2022, where he made 21 appearances and scored once, and then to Hamburger SV in 2023. That second loan turned permanent when he signed for HSV on 31 January 2024, going on to make 14 appearances and add another goal before his move on loan to Eintracht Braunschweig, where he now wears the number 3 shirt.

At youth level, Katterbach was a regular fixture in the German set-up, representing the national team from the U16s through to the U21s between 2017 and 2023 and collecting 35 caps and three goals along the way. That run included two individual honours: the Fritz Walter Medal in Gold, awarded first at U17 level in 2018 and again at U19 level in 2020.
