About the player
Oleksandr Drambaev came through Metalurh Zaporizhzhia's academy before Shakhtar Donetsk signed him into their youth setup in the summer of 2018. He never broke into the Donetsk club's first team.
The path abroad followed in the summer of 2022, when Drambaev joined Belgian side Zulte Waregem for a season, making 22 appearances and scoring once. A year later he moved on loan to Croatia's Osijek, featuring 16 times. He returned to Ukrainian football in July 2024, signing for Kryvbas for a fee of €180,000.
His stay there was brief. In January 2025, LNZ Cherkasy paid €500,000 to bring him in, and the defender has since become a regular fixture, making 32 appearances for the club. The 2025/26 season brought his biggest team success to date: a runner-up finish in the Ukrainian championship with LNZ.
Drambaev has represented Ukraine at various youth levels, with caps for the under-18, under-19, under-21 and under-23 sides, but has not featured for the senior national team.
