Paulinho

Paulinho has said that he lived and studied in England between the ages of 13 and 19. His professional record begins with Aimoré, with the dates never firmly set down in the statistical databases.

His spell abroad in the record books came at Chaves in Portugal, from July 2021 to June 2022, where he played 14 matches in Liga Portugal 2. He returned to Brazil afterwards, passing through Atlético Catarinense over the turn of 2022 and 2023 before joining Anápolis in July 2023.

Anápolis became the club he kept coming back to. In 2024 he played 13 matches in the Campeonato Goiano, scoring once, and two in Série D, scoring twice. That September he was loaned to Brusque, where he made 12 Série B appearances in 2024 and five in the Campeonato Catarinense the following year. A second loan followed in February 2025, this time to Vila Nova: three matches in Série B and five in the Goiano before it ended in June. Back at Anápolis for the second half of 2025, he added ten Série C appearances.

He signed for Maringá on 1 January 2026, and the 2026 season has given him a run of football in his career: eight matches and two goals in the Campeonato Paranaense, 15 in Série C, and two in the Copa do Brasil. No team titles or individual awards appear against his name in the available records.
