Qian Yumiao

Qian Yumiao came through Wuhan Zall's youth ranks before a trial at SC Heerenveen in the Netherlands in 2016 pointed his career abroad. Instead of the Eredivisie, he ended up at Portuguese side Vizela, joining the club's under-19 academy that September. The move took him out of the Chinese system at a formative age before he returned home to make his senior breakthrough.

That breakthrough came with Tianjin Quanjian, where he made his debut in the Chinese Super League in October 2017. His time there was limited to six league appearances before he moved on to Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, then known as Tianjin TEDA, in July 2020. It was at Tianjin that Qian became a regular, racking up 54 league appearances. His first senior goal did not arrive until December 2022, when he scored against Wuhan Yangtze River in a 3-0 win. The same spell also brought a red card, shown in the 2020 Chinese FA Cup semi-final against Jiangsu Suning.

Qian's representative career began early: he played for China at under-16 level, appearing at the 2014 AFC U-16 Championship. He has not featured for the senior national team. In 2024, injuries kept him out of training and matches, interrupting his run at Tianjin.
