About the player
Rens Boon came through Unitas '59 before PSV Eindhoven brought him into the academy in 2018. He worked his way through the club's youth ranks and captained the O17 side in the 2023/24 season. On 10 June 2024 he signed his first professional contract with PSV.
The following two seasons were spent split between PSV's U19 side, where he featured in the UEFA Youth League, and Jong PSV, the club's reserve team in the Eerste Divisie.
That move came on 1 July 2026, when Boon left PSV as a free agent to join FC Eindhoven on a two-year contract. He plays as a left-footed centre-back and wears the number 5 shirt at his new club.
