About the player
Sanzhar Erniyazov's career has been defined by movement. Since starting out with Akzhaik in 2022, he has played for several clubs, most recently joining Kyzyl-Zhar. That path has taken him through Zhetysu, Atyrau and Khan-Tengri, without settling long at any one of them.
His time at Akzhaik brought his most notable moment on the pitch: reaching the final of the OLIMPBET Cup of Kazakhstan in 2022, when the club began with the under-21 side before Erniyazov broke into the first team the following year. Ordabasy beat Akzhaik in that final.
Beyond club football, Erniyazov has been called up several times to Kazakhstan's under-21 national team, featuring in qualifiers for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2027 as well as friendly matches. In those camps, he has mainly served as a reserve goalkeeper rather than a regular starter.
