Simon Fabio Stehle

Simon Fabio Stehle was born in Valladolid, the son of a German father and Colombian mother, and began his football education not in Germany but at Atlético Madrid, before a move to Levante took him through the Spanish youth system until 2020. That year brought a switch to Hannover 96's academy and, within weeks, a senior debut in the 2. Bundesliga — one he marked by scoring against SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He signed his first professional contract the same month.

The following seasons were shaped by loan spells that took him into the 3. Liga, first at 1. FC Kaiserslautern and then at Viktoria Köln, where he won the Mittelrhein-Pokal after Köln beat 1. FC Düren in the final. He also had a spell with Hannover 96's second team in the Regionalliga Nord.

A free transfer to 1. FC Saarbrücken in August 2023 gave Stehle his most sustained run of first-team football to date: over two seasons in the 3. Liga he made 61 appearances and scored seven goals. In June 2025 he moved on again, joining SV Wehen Wiesbaden on a free transfer and signing a contract until 2027.

At youth level, Stehle was capped for Germany's U16 side in 2017, though he has not featured for a senior national team. At Wehen Wiesbaden, wearing the number 9 shirt, he currently leads the club's scoring in league play this season with a single goal.
