About the player
His path there began in Warsaw, where academy spells at Wiktoria Sulejówek and Eskola led to a professional contract at Polonia Warsaw in July 2020, followed by thirteen third-division appearances the next season.
Jagiellonia signed him in August 2021 on a three-year deal, but it took a year before he featured for the senior side — a Polish Cup tie away at Odra Opole, won 1-0, in September 2022. The Ekstraklasa debut followed the following spring, in a 2-1 win over Górnik Zabrze.
The breakthrough came in the 2024/25 season, when Abramowicz went from reserve to first-choice goalkeeper: 31 league appearances and 17 in the UEFA Conference League. In November 2024 he was named the Ekstraklasa's Young Player of the Month. That year Jagiellonia also won the Polish Super Cup, with Abramowicz in goal.
He has represented Poland at youth level, with caps for the under-18, under-20 and under-21 sides, but has yet to receive a call-up to the senior national team. At club level, Jagiellonia have made clear they see little reason to let him go.
