Stevan Manuel came through Benfica's academy after starting out at UD Alta de Lisboa. On 29 July 2024, at 16 years old, he signed his first professional contract with Benfica.
His rise through the ranks has run alongside his career with Portugal's youth national teams, where he has scored five goals in 28 appearances across the U15, U16 and U17 sides. At the World Cup in Qatar, Manuel was named man of the match on his debut in a 6-1 win over New Caledonia. At the European Championship in Albania, Portugal beat Italy on penalties before putting three past France in the final.
At club level, Manuel has featured mainly for Benfica's U23 side, appearing 27 times and scoring twice in the 2025/26 season, while also making one appearance for Benfica B and five in the UEFA Youth League with the U-19s. He has already collected domestic honours with the club's junior sides, winning the Júnior U-19 title and the Campeonato Nacional de Juvenis in 2024/25.
