About the player
Talles Brenner de Paula never established himself at Fluminense, moving through the Rio giant's youth ranks without making a first-team appearance before dropping into a career built almost entirely on loans and short-term deals. Mirassol picked him up on loan in 2017 and made the move permanent within a year, before a loan to Noroeste and a switch to Vila Nova in Goiânia.
The path out of Brazil began in February 2021, when Talles joined Olimpik Donetsk as a free agent. Six months later he moved to Rukh Lviv, a transfer whose fee has not been disclosed. A loan to KuPS in Finland followed in 2022, before Kashima Antlers brought him to Japan on loan in August 2024.
Talles returned to Rukh in June 2026, choosing the Ukrainian club again after his spell in Japan. He has described the move as a personal choice rather than a step forced on him, pointing to an attachment to Ukraine that brought him back rather than any dispute with Kashima.
