Toni Silić

When Hajduk Split lifted the Croatian Cup in 2021/22, Toni Silić watched it from the bench. He was on the squad list and nothing more.

The waiting had a structure to it. Silić came through NK Dugopolje until 2013, moved into Hajduk's academy that year and stayed there until 2021, then signed his first professional contract with the senior side. His first competitive outing came for the reserves, Hajduk II, on 16 April 2021. In June 2022 he extended his deal with the club until 2027.

Then came three seasons of being sent elsewhere. Dugopolje took him back on loan from August 2022 to June 2023 and made him their first choice: 17 matches, a full run of games at last. Moldova followed — Sheriff, from August 2023 to June 2024, 12 appearances. At Lokomotiva Zagreb from August 2024 he played three times before he returned to Split.

That return is where his career changed shape. Silić became Hajduk's first-choice goalkeeper across the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons. During 2025 he was linked with a move to Ukrainian side Metalist 1925, but no transfer materialised.

Internationally he has stayed at youth level: three caps for Croatia's under-15s, two for the under-18s, and six for the under-21s since his debut in November 2023. The senior national team has not called him up.
