Wherever the third team of FC Balzers played, the first team's fixture list featured FC Vaduz, met again and again in the Liechtenstein Cup, and USV Eschen/Mauren, the opponent for the derby. Its last cup appearance ended 1:4 against FC Ruggell 2.
The club it belonged to came out of Balzers itself, a village side founded on 1 May 1932, and it stayed one — the Swiss press still uses Dorfverein when it needs a shorthand. The 2018/19 season, its last, brought ninth place out of ten in the 4. Liga, group 3.
