The pitch at Winkogo, on the edge of Bolgatanga, is artificial turf laid down with FIFA money. It carries the name Kurt E.S. Okraku Technical Centre.
The name causes confusion before anything else does. Berekum sits in the Bono Region, roughly 415 kilometres south, and gave its name to Berekum Chelsea, the club that won the Ghana Premier League in 2010/11.
Founded in 2023, the club spent its early seasons in the Upper East Regional Division Two, the tier known locally as the Middle League.
Three seasons separate that promotion from the club's first year of existence.
