Busan Transportation

In 2011, a team of transit-company employees from Busan lined up in the Round of 32 of the Korean FA Cup against Gyeongnam FC, a club playing two divisions above them in K League 1, and beat them.

Cup and festival football has been the club's stronger suit throughout. They took the National League Cup in 2010 and were gold medallists at the National Sports Festival four times, in 2006, 2009, 2013 and 2014, where a fourth-place finish in the K3 League in 2022 stands as their best.

The team draws two rivalries from its own identity as a works club. Against Busan IPark, the game is simply the Busan Derby; against Daejeon Korail, it is known as the Railroad Derby.

The club still carries the name of the company that built it. Busan Transportation Corporation, which operates the city's metro, set up the side on 1 February 2006 as its works team, and the blue-and-white colours and the Seagull nickname have stayed with it since.
