When Collex-Bossy took the field for the first time, the players wore white, a nod to Real Madrid. It did not last. President Pino Crispini decided the club should wear the colours of its own commune instead, and by the 1970s the kit settled on garnet, the shade the club has kept since.
The club was founded in 1962, with Marcel Pezenti as both founder and its first player. Liga in the late 1980s before settling into the regional structure that still defines it. A Geneva championship win in 2011 sent the club up to 2. Liga interregional, where it plays today, in the group-1 bracket for 2026/27, still fully amateur.
Home games are played at Stade Marc Burdet.
