The Stadionul Municipal in Turnu Măgurele holds 2,000.
It started in 1962 as Chimia Turnu Măgurele.
In 2013 the owner, Mihai Ionescu, stopped paying, the municipality did not step in, and the club was wound up. What followed in the town were separate private ventures with no legal line back to Chimia. That gap ran eight years. In the summer of 2021 the municipality itself refounded the club as CS Dunărea Turris Turnu Măgurele and entered it in Liga IV, the fourth tier — five divisions below where the 1983 side had earned the right to play.
The return was immediate: the Teleorman county title in 2021–22, the fifth in the club's history, following 1997–98, 2001–02, 2006–07 and 2009–10. The name changed again that year, to CSM Cetatea Turnu Măgurele.
The colours have not moved: white and red, worn on the Danube for 64 years.
