The club was set up in 1976 as Falköpings Kvinnliga Idrottsklubb — a women's sports club, which puts it among the oldest of its kind in Sweden. It has never won a national trophy.
What it has is the 2007 season. Falköpings KIK went up into Damallsvenskan and found the gap wider than anything the lower divisions had prepared them for. Four wins, two draws, sixteen defeats. They scored 17 goals and conceded 65, finished eleventh of twelve, and went straight back down.
In 2026 that meant Alingsås Women, who won 5-1.
Two names attached to the club's history carry further than the results do. Madelen Janogy came later. Neither made her reputation in Falköping, but both are listed there, and for a club that has never lifted anything, that is the record it keeps.
