Fuerza Regia de Monterrey

Fuerza Regia has spent most of its finals against the same handful of names, and none has stung more than Soles de Mexicali, the side that stood across from them in 2017, the first time La Fuerza reached a league final. Diablos Rojos del México took that role in 2025.

No team has won more Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional titles than Fuerza Regia — six championships between the 2016–17 and 2025 seasons, a run that also produced a Copa Value in 2023, when the club beat Libertadores de Querétaro 98–89 in the final, and a women's LNBP Femenil title in 2024. Numbers alone do not explain how the club got there. Alonso Izaguirre and Felipe Sánchez belong to an earlier register entirely: their numbers hang retired inside the Gimnasio Nuevo León, known to the crowd there as La Fortaleza, a name that fits a team that rarely loses at home.

Ownership changed hands in 2025, when Grupo Multimedios took full control of the club after years of sharing it with Grupo Ganem. Before the Gimnasio Nuevo León became home, Fuerza Regia played at Arena Monterrey, from 2003 to 2008.
