Lobos Plateados

Arena BUAP holds 3,500 people. Lobos Plateados played there through the 2024 season.

The name had already lived one short life in Puebla. The brand returned in 2024 under Promoción Deportiva y Cultural AC, with Ángel Fernando Morales Blanchet as president, presented to the public in June and taking the floor for the first time on 11 July against Dorados de Chihuahua, a game they won 109–104. The roster carried some recognisable names, Daniel Hamilton among them, a former NBA player lending the expansion side an unfamiliar level of pedigree for a first season.

That season ended in the Play-In, short of the main playoffs, and 2025 passed without the team taking part at all. The revival came in 2026, this time as Lobos de Puebla, with Paco Olmos taking over as head coach and the team moving into the Gimnasio Miguel Hidalgo.

Through both incarnations the identity has held steady: sage, silver and white, a home shirt that leans sage with white sides and an away kit reversing the balance toward white and grey. Supporters still call them La Manada, the pack.
