The first of the three cup wins, in 2018, was tighter: a 3-2 defeat of AF Luc Dorigny that needed extra time to settle.
The Coupe Vaudoise is as far as the club's ambition has stretched. In the Coupe de Suisse, the national competition, Genolier-Begnins has gone no further than a first-round exit, beaten 1-7 by FC Bulle in the 2021/22 edition. Domestically the side has fared better: a title in Group 1 of the 2e Ligue Inter came off what was a perfect season, sealed with final wins over Forward Morges and Prilly.
Home games are played at the Terrain du Pesant d'Or, also known as the Terrain des Gravières, which holds 1,000. The shirts are yellow and green, a pairing the club explains through a line on its own website.
The club itself is the product of a merger. FC Genolier, formed in 1955, and FC Begnins, formed in 1972, joined forces in 1991 to create the side that carries both names into the Vaudois cup finals today.
