Haiti U20

Mexico has been the recurring obstacle. The first international match anyone has documented for Haiti at under-20 level, in 1962, ended 0-5 against the Mexicans. When Haiti reached the 2015 — the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 finals, Mexico was drawn into Group B alongside them.

The 2026 side did rather better, coming through qualifying and finishing second in Group A with 6 points from two wins and a defeat.

The senior reference point for the men remains 1977 in Tunisia, when Haiti finished second in their group at the FIFA U-20 World Cup; the team returned to the tournament in South Korea in 2007. No CONCACAF U-20 title has been recorded on the men's side.

The women's team has the medals. Third place at the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship came in the same year the side reached the World Cup, and Melchie Dumornay is the name attached to that period — 15 goals in 14 appearances for the age group between 2018 and 2022.

All of it is played at Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince, which opened in 1953 and holds 10,500 for international fixtures. The ground was rebuilt with FIFA money after the 2010 earthquake and now has an artificial surface.

The blue home shirt and red change kit follow the national bicolore, which is where Le Rouge et Bleu comes from. There is no founding year for the under-20 team itself — squads are assembled by the Fédération Haïtienne de Football, and the federation dates from 1904.
