Raudondvaris Stadium holds 1,550 people, and Hegelmann only moved in during September 2024. Before that the club played at NFA Stadium, a venue of 500 seats. Raudondvaris itself sits in the Kaunas district rather than the city proper, and the club is based there too.
The money and the name come from Hegelmann Transporte, a German logistics firm that set the club up in January 2009. The third tier's Kaunas zone won in 2014, the second tier's South zone in 2018, and then a decade's worth of ground covered in the seasons after.
What the club has not managed is the last step. Second place in A Lyga in 2024, second again in 2025. Three appearances in the LFF Taurė final — 2022, 2024, 2025 — and no cup. Andrius Skerla was in charge from 2021 to 2025 and through most of those near misses; the Spaniard Mikel Aramburu took over in 2026.
The blue and white shirts give the club its nickname, and they are worn against a neighbour that has held the city's football identity for far longer. FK Kauno Žalgiris is the opponent that matters — the fixture is known as the Kauno derbis.
