Horní Ředice

Horní Ředice is not a place most Czech football followers could point to on a map. That changed with a run through the regional pyramid that started well below it: in 2013/14 the side won the III. třída okresu Pardubice, the ninth tier, with a goal difference of 89:18, then took the I. B třída Pardubického kraje. A second-place finish in the I. A třída in 2018/19 sent the club into the Přebor Pardubického kraje for the first time. It stayed there only until it won the division outright, in 2023 and again in 2024, promotion into Divize C, the fourth tier.

The step up showed in the table: 12th place in Divize C in 2024/25. What has kept the club's name in front of a wider audience is the Czech Cup. In the 2025/26 competition, Horní Ředice beat FC Vlašim of the second tier 2:1, then knocked out third-tier SK Aritma Praha 1:0, before meeting top-flight 1. FC Slovácko in the third round. The side led 1:0 at half-time and eventually lost 1:2. A season later, the cup run continued with a 3:0 win over MFK Chrudim.
