Kelen

Kelen beat REAC 5-3 on penalties to lift the Budapest Cup in 2019, and confirmed it two years later with a 1-0 extra-time win over Csepel FC. The same 2019 season brought the Budapest First Division title, which sent the club up into NB III for the first time.

The club grew out of Kelenföld, the district on Budapest's Buda side that gave it both its name and its supporters' nickname, Kelenes, still used when the club appeals for new players. It has carried the colours green, white and black since 1926.

Kelenföldi Textilgyár SE, the works team tied to the local textile factory, gave Kelen its old local derby; that rivalry ended when the factory club folded in 1996, leaving Kelen as Kelenföld's own side. A 2017 designation as an MLSZ sub-centre tied the club more closely into the football federation's development structure, feeding the run that produced the 2019 double.

Matches are played at the Hunyadi Mátyás utcai Stadion, a ground built for a neighbourhood rather than a crowd: 1,500 capacity, with only 150 seats in the main stand and the rest given over to standing room.

Kelen now plays in the North-West group of NB III, the level its 2019 promotion opened up, and a Budapest Cup double has yet to be followed by anything higher up the pyramid.
