Lebring

Every Bezirksderby against SV Wildon carries more weight than the league table suggests, a district rivalry both sides call hot enough that the result matters less than the bragging rights it settles until the next meeting. Wildon's promotion to the Regionalliga Mitte in 2023/24 has pulled the sides apart on paper, but neither side needed a table to know what the fixture means.

SV Lebring, formally SV SI Bau-Gady-Raiffeisen Lebring, grew out of the small Styrian municipality of Lebring in the district of Leibnitz, marking its 75th year in 2025. Seventy-five years without a Landesliga Steiermark title has not stopped the club settling into the fourth tier as a fixture rather than a visitor, with third place in 2017/18 and fourth in 2022/23 standing as its high-water marks there.

What the club has built more reliably is its production line. Christoph Martschinko went through the Lebring youth ranks before playing for Austria Wien and TSG Hoffenheim, and Stefan Stangl followed a similar path out of the same academy to Sturm Graz, Red Bull Salzburg, Austria Wien and Slovan Bratislava. More recently, Jonas Lang scored 54 goals in 100 appearances for the first team before his move to SV Tillmitsch in 2025 — a strike rate that says more about him than any league placing does about the club.

Where Lebring has actually won something is indoors: as SV Lebring TIBA Gady Raiffeisen, the club topped the Main Round of the 1. ÖFB Futsal Liga in 2025.

The football side plays out its home matches in front of a ground that holds 2,000.
