The club has been turning out in regional competition since at least the 2013/2014 season, playing home matches at the 1,000-seat Mayaluka Stadium in maroon and white. Promotion came in 2022, after Madlenya finished runners-up in the First Division, and for two seasons the club held its own in the Eswatini Premier League before finishing 14th in 2024-2025 and dropping back to the Second Division.
What Madlenya has to show for itself instead is a single afternoon in 2023, when the club reached the semi-finals of the PLE Trade Fair Cup and got past Moneni Pirates on penalties. Lucky Vicky Gamedze carried the club's name further still, earning a call-up to the Eswatini national team.
