Milenio Logrono

The rink at the Polideportivo Municipal de Lobete seats 640, a small enough bowl that the venue has gone by its own working name, Pista de Hielo de Logroño, since it opened in 2007. Milenio Club Patín had already been running for two years by then, its senior side playing out of whatever ice the city could offer until Lobete gave the project a permanent home.

The team, known to supporters as the Milenio Panthers and carrying the colours orange, black and white, needed only one season in the second division to make its mark: promoted as champions in 2009–10, they reached the Copa del Rey final that same year as hosts, losing to FC Barcelona. It remains the closest the club has come to a major trophy.

Staying in the top-flight Liga Nacional de Hockey Hielo has proved harder than reaching it. Logroño went down in 2015 and again in 2017, climbed back for 2021–22, then finished bottom of the table in 2023–24. There is no fixed rival to measure the club against, though the meetings with Club Hielo Jaca carry their own weight, sharpened by Jaca's habit of winning them.

Ernesto Ubieto, born in Jaca himself, remains the franchise's all-time leading scorer with 49 points in 15 games, a rate that still sets the bar for anyone coming through the club's youth ranks. Marcos Sotés holds the appearance record, 65 games, the kind of number that comes from staying through the relegations rather than the promotion.

Vitali Kulikov took over as head coach for 2025–26, with Blake Cudmore wearing the captain's armband. The season did not run its course: Milenio withdrew from the league before it finished, leaving the club to plan its return to competitive hockey from outside the LNHH table altogether.
